Under the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) Pathway, Under 11s rugby acts as a crucial transitional stage. It builds on the basic tackling introduced at U10, introducing controlled elements of the set-piece and tactical kicking, whilst keeping a strict focus on safety, equal participation, and player development.
More aspects of the full game like scrums and lineouts are introduced as well as rucks and mauls.
As with every age group, we will focus on making rugby fun while also challenging each player to develop strong core skills and a positive team personality.
