On Saturday night, two of our Minis and Juniors coaches took on an incredible challenge to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of our M&J section starting. Lee and Simon walked overnight, 25 miles, from Skirrid Fawr to arrive at training at Sycamore field for 10am on Sunday morning to raise funds for both the M&Js and for the Magor Maidens, who Simon and Lee also coach.

Greeted by a M&J guard of honour and bacon sandwiches they made it just in time!

As of this post going to press they have raised £860 but this is not a one off, oh no, the crazy pair have two other walks planned. The Dragon’s back walk carrying a tackle tube and, to commemorate another anniversary, the under 8s first game at a tournament at Cardiff arms park, they intend to walk from there to training in a few weeks time!
